Students in Mr. Belew's 5th grade science class were challenged to compare the movement of atoms with the popping of popcorn in the exciting and tasty "Atomic Popcorn Lab"!
Students in Mrs. Allgood's class were challenged to design and build an ice cooler that would keep their ice from melting the longest. There were some very unique designs.
At Beebe Middle School, Mrs. Carter's class says, "Happiness is reading outside on a crisp fall morning."
Constitution Day was celebrated at Beebe Middle School with the election of Student Council Class Representatives Students got to go to the polls and vote for the candidate of their choice. S.C. officers will be elected from this slate of representatives in a general election
Here in 5th grade at Beebe Middle School, Ms. Davis’s science classes have been learning about matter. Students made observations and measurements to explore properties of matter.

Mrs. Vaden’s Social Studies classes traveled this week to New England and to the Rocky Mountains!
Students read colorful brochures of Fall Foliage Fun and A Winter Wonderland of Survival, and worked in
teams to “pack their gear” for the two adventures. The students are studying the Five Themes of
Geography, and utilized their skills to determine their needs based on climate and environment for each
outing. The Five Themes of Geography background gives greater understanding of the influences that
shape the History 5 th graders will study throughout the year.
Every homeroom teacher at BMS is working with their students to make our school as safe and productive as possible. Students were asked the four questions pictured, and then their answers were recorded and agreed upon by all students in the class. You can see the results!
Mr. Belew's 5th grade science class is enjoying the first days of school by helping to stock the new aquarium. So far it is home to Sheldon the turtle and Goldie the fish. A great big thank you to Bob and Kim Pruitt for their donation of the tank!
