Fifth grade students carve soap arrowheads as a culminating activity in literacy class. Students have been studying the Nez Perce Native Americans and how westward expansion impacted Native American cultures in the West. We love hands-on learning at BMS! #BPRD #BMSPawPower
Students in Ms. Davis’s class tested liquids to see which ones would clean the tarnish off a penny. Then they discussed experiments they could do to figure out what happened to the tarnish.
Each quarter, the classes with the most words read is awarded the Golden Books award. This quarter, Mrs. Stogsdill’s 5th grade class read 3,386,975 words! Mrs. Allgood’s 6th class read 5,424,618 words! We are so proud of all our readers! #BPRD #BMSpawPower

Today we held our first 9 weeks awards. We celebrated grades, citizenship, and AR goals. Students received bracelets to collect each nine weeks. Officer Meharg manned the AR Goal Crusher incentive table. #BPRD #BMSPawpower
