Mrs. Jenkins’ classes are working hard on their posters of tests that Odysseus faced throughout “The Odyssey.”

Ms. Davis’ classes have been learning about the needs of plants and photosynthesis. They created 3-D models to show the process of photosynthesis. They did a gallery walk and used a checklist to evaluate a different group's model.
BMS EAST students, Zaidyn and Noah, participated in the Drone for Students training event at the EAST Initiative headquarters on Thursday. They were the youngest students learning the laws regarding drone use, safety procedures, and getting hands-on time in the field.

Registration for pee wee basketball is open to boys and girls in grades 1st - 6th. The cost is $60 per player (when signing up more than one child per family, $50/player).Forms can be picked up in the BMS office.

4. Put your first AND last name along with your homeroom teacher’s name on the BACK of the poster.
5. Posters can be made on full size poster boards and with any type of crayon, marker, etc.
6. All posters must be turned in the morning of Monday, October 27th. Late entries will not be accepted unless a doctor’s excuse is attached. All posters will be hung outside of homerooms to show pride in all of our students’ work. There will be a homeroom winner that the staff will decide upon. A prize will be awarded to those winners. All homeroom winners will then be in the running for the overall poster winner. There will be a 5th grade winner and a 6th grade winner. The winners will be announced on Friday, October 31st.
