Science
After wrapping up our unit over physical and chemical changes in science, we have moved on to forces of motion and simple machines. We explored the world of magnetism when we used
magnets to find out what items are attracted to them. Then we created foldables to explain how each of the six simple machines work.
Hanaley Harris, and Ben Pickens create foldables for their simple machines study guide.
Colin Brinsfield and John Tucker investigate which of their items are magnetic.
Math
We have been learning about place value and how it is important to the rest of the math we will learn this year. We are working our way into multiplying with multiple digit whole numbers. It's as scary as a haunted house on Halloween, but we are working hard to overcome our fear!
