Summer is over for our scholars, but that's alright because science is just beginning. Science seems to be a favorite for most of our scholars. Team Bledsoe/Whitehead are enjoying their time learning about the scientific method. They are using what they have learned to design and perform their own experiment. Some of our scholars are testing seeds to see if they will grow after being watered with a baking soda/water mixture. What do you think will happen?
While science seems to be a favorite, math on the other hand, is not. While it is not a favorite Team Bledsoe/Whitehead are trying to change their mindsets about math. They are learning that they are math people, and it is okay to make mistakes. In fact, our scholars are learning from their mistakes and growing their brains all at the same time. Some of our scholars realize they need extra help with math and have taken it upon themselves to get the help during their lunch time. How's that for responsibility?
