ALL visitors that are coming to the Muffins for Military ceremony on Thursday, November 10th, must bring a driver's license so that they can be verified through the office. Every visitor must be verified through our Hall Pass system prior to the ceremony. We will begin verifying visitors at 8:15 am and will print a visitor's badge for everyone to wear. We look forward for this special event to honor our military families!
We are so proud of these students! They all have perfect attendance from the very first day of school through October 20, 2022. Also, these students do not have any tardies! Each student recieved a medal from Mrs. Jenkins for their perfect attendance. Congratulations to these students!

Parent Teacher Conferences are today from 4:00 pm to 8:00. We will also have the Title I meet at this time. There will be no school on Friday, October 21 and Monday, October 24. We look forward to seeing our families tonight!
Early Childhood students were recognized at the October school board meeting for high growth on the NWEA Map Reading and Math assessments! Also, Griffin, Beebe Early Childhood’s emotional assistance dog, earned a medal for his service to the students and staff of BEC!
Parent Teacher Conferences will be this Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We will also have our Book Fair Family Night at this time. The Book Fair will be in the BEC Library. We look forward to seeing you there!

In your child's folders this afternoon will be a FERPA consent form. This consent was left out of the Flu packet that went home earlier this week. To receive a flu vaccine, students must return BOTH forms - flu vaccine consent and FERPA form.
Parents/Guardians please fill out the following pages front and back if you would like for your child to have the flu vaccine (We will only have injections this year. NO MIST). If your child has already been vaccinated, or you do not want them to have a flu shot at school, do not return the packet.
The Flu clinic will be October 18th, 2022.
Please return paper work ONLY if you want your student to be
vaccinated. The paperwork must be returned by October 17th, 2022.

Today is Speech Language Pathologist Day and May is Better Hearing and Speech Month! We have an awesome team at BEC!
Jamie Jenkins is the K-12 Deaf Education Hearing Specialist and the Speech Lanuage Pathologist are Haylynn Moore, SLP and Paige Brown SLP Assistant. Lisa Corbit, SLP and Moesha Williams, SLP also come weekly to work with our students. Early identification and intervention for hearing loss is important. Checking one's hearing at an early age is the first step in addressing the issue. Thank you for all that you do for our students!
