
-Please read the information below about the Beebe Junior High School (7th and 8th) plan pertaining to the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017.
-A permission form was given to all students during their 8th period class on Thursday, August 17th. The forms are due back MONDAY.
-All Beebe Junior High Students participating will be required to sign a Statement of Responsibility form before exiting the building to view the solar eclipse.
-We want your students to come to school for morning instruction, but If you want to check your student out they MUST be checked out by 11:30 a.m. Excused absences will be counted for the whole day.

We're excited to welcome you to our “1st Annual Back to School Bash!” Thursday, August 10. It will be tailgate style meet-n-greet, where you can meet all of your teachers and enjoy some yummy snacks!

If you are unable to attend the orientation, the building will be open on Thursday, August 10th, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm for students to meet staff members and tour the school.

Before and after the meetings, students will have an opportunity to practice opening their lockers, as well as tour the school to find classes and become familiar with their school.

August 8: 7th GRADE--5:30 pm, and 8th GRADE--6:15 pm. Mr. Barrentine and staff members will be discussing our new programs for the upcoming year and the expectations we have for our students.

Tuesday, August 8th: orientation meetings for BJHS parents and students. Schedules and locker information will be passed out at this time. Locker fees are $5--students are required to have a locker.

Beebe Schools are asking for each student to bring $1 on Thursday to donate to Pocahontas and Des Arc Flood Disaster Relief.

Parent/Teacher conferences: March 16, 3:00-8:00

Red Ribbon Weeks starts Monday. MONDAY – October 24th – “Tie up Drugs” – Wear Red; Tie ribbons around trees and fences to celebrate the week!

Parent/Teacher conferences for grades 7-12 will be held from 3:00-8:00pm Tuesday, and the conferences for K-6 will be on Thursday. School will get out at 2:00 both days.

We will dismiss to go to the Homecoming Pep Rally at 12:27 pm. If you are planning on checking out your student for the parade, you must do so BEFORE we are dismissed for the Pep Rally.

Tomorrow is Crazy Hat day! Celebrate Homecoming week by wearing a fun hat!!

Wear blue tomorrow to participate in the "Sea of Blue" in honor of Officer David Nelson who passed away Saturday.
