BEC received a grant from Lowe's for $2700! STEM resources and a portable cart were purchased with the funds. The cart is available for checkout by teachers and staff for our students to utilize.

BEC Walk-A-Thon Information
Ms. Stacy Taylor's students used their handwriting and art skills to make 100 Christmas cards for the residents of the Beebe Retirement Center! Before being delivered, the cards were used for lots of math word problems and fun counting activities! The students focused on being kind and wishing others well as they made the cards! When asked about the card project, several students said the following:
I like doing kind things. I hope the people will be happy because they see all the cards!
It’s like a gift or a stocking. I like art and it’s for them and they will smile.
They gave me candy when I trick-or-treated them. I am making the cards to give to all them and the cards make them smile.
I love making cards for people because it will make them happy and feel good!
People like a nice card. People will like them.
I hope they like them and it was fun and that’s like Christmas! So everybody should have a Merry Christmas!
Ms.Wallace’s class read The Gingerbread Boy and tasted gingerbread cookies today. They gave them a thumbs up ♥️ #BPRD
