
THEY DID IT! The final numbers have been posted for the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge...and BEEBE READERS topped 10,000 reading minutes this summer! Our final grand total is 10,273 MINUTES READ. WOW, way to go Beebe Readers! Beebe Middle School came from behind to win the total minutes read for our district with 3,787 minutes. Beebe Early Childhood took second place with 3,607 minutes read. Beebe Elementary posted an impressive third place finish with 2,879 minutes read. The classroom teachers whose students posted the most minutes included: Carranco, K. Simpson, Stinnett, C. Simpson, S. Davis, L. Davis and Money. FIRST GRADE
On Friday, September 16th, 1st grade will be attending Kid’s Day at the White County Fair(Free!). We will tour the livestock barn, petting zoo, and educational exhibit booths. Afterwards we will go to Barryhill Park (weather permitting) for a picnic lunch and outside play.

Helpful Tip:
After 8:00 a.m., you must accompany your child to the office to sign him/her in for the school day. If it is after 8:30, they will have an unexcused half day absence.

TIME: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Please make plans to attend the Early Childhood Family Night. We will begin feeding families at 5:30 p.m. An information presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Childcare will be available to all school age children during the information presentation. To participate in the carnival games, families must attend the informational meeting.


Helpful Tip: BEC can not accept birthday treats or cupcakes for students. We have a STAR Day each month for treats. Your child's teacher will send home a note with details for each STAR Day.
